Year in the Life of a Camera

Year in the Life of a Camera

This was a project of the Circle of Confusion photo club in Colorado Springs. We had 52 photographers each take the same Canon AE-1 and we took photos for one week. At the end of the year we selected some photos and they ended up being a photo show and then at least one image from each photographer ended up in the book.

Abandonment

Abandonment

Another project of the Circle of Confusion photo club. We went out and photographed abandoned buildings “Images from America’s disappearing heartlands.” and then we showcased them in this book!

This book published by Last Gasp & Smokemuse showcases Guerrilla Tour Through Art & Politics. The work primarily showcases the work of Ron English as well as several other pop artists. I have over 60 photos in the book including a photo montage of Englishes “Abraham Obama” image created with thousands of photographs of Obama’s 2008 Presidential Campaign.

This book is about the Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII (WASP) receiving their Congressional Gold Medals and the events that took place around it to include other awards, parties, and the legislation leading to them receiving it. I have been the official photographer of the WASP since the mid 90’s. Their story is Amazing and I look forward to telling more about them in another book coming up soon. I took all of the photos in this book with the exception of the two taken in the 1940’s, and the one taken of me on the flap.
